Position: Accountant
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Odoo Proficiency: Utilize Odoo software for all financial and accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial status.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and management of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Audit Support: Prepare for and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Operations Involvement: Participate in operational activities, supporting various departments to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.
- Human Resources Support: Assist in HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and other HR-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Odoo Experience: Proficiency in using Odoo software for accounting and financial management.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively in a small company setting.
