Job Summary
The Projects Manager at Emerge will oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of various outdoor living space projects. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. The Projects Manager will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Initiation
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with their expectations.
- Prepare and submit project proposals, bids, and contracts.
- Project Execution and Monitoring
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being carried out to the highest standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Budget and Resource Management
- Track project costs and manage the project budget to ensure financial targets are met.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project efficiency.
- Approve project-related expenditures and manage project procurement processes.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Liaise with internal teams, including design, engineering, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on outdoor living spaces or similar projects.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
